Design Approach
The concept draws inspiration from the River Clyde and its shoreline, translating movement, flow and natural textures into a modern cafe interior.
A restrained palette of soft neutrals, concrete tones and black accents is balanced with warmer elements to avoid a cold, industrial feel. Curves and flowing lines reference the river’s movement, while layered textures bring depth and tactility to the space.
To add personality and a sense of storytelling, the design incorporates playful, illustrative elements inspired by local Clyde wildlife, creating moments of surprise and connection without overpowering the calm aesthetic.
Practicality was key: the layout was carefully planned to support smooth barista workflow, clear customer circulation and strong visual impact from the promenade - ensuring the cafe functions efficiently while standing out in its harbour context.
Our 3D visualisations capture every detail of the space.
From lighting to bespoke furniture and décor, every piece is thoughtfully procured to bring the design together.
